2022 Sanctioned Competitions Announced
ARE YOU READY TO COMPETE?
Sport has the power to change the world, pushing people further and bringing people closer. Competition builds character, developing in athletes the dedication, self-confidence, and resilience that translate to all areas of their lives.
Move United Sanctioned Competitions represent several of the best adaptive multi-sport competitive events in the United States and are sanctioned by both Move United and applicable National Governing Bodies (NGBs). This sanction represents a commitment to follow national and, when applicable, international rules and to provide a safe, positive environment for participants, volunteers, officials, coaches, and spectators. In 2022, 25 sanctioned competitions in 20 states will serve over 2000 athletes of all ages and performance levels, including new athletes, Paralympians, and warfighters. All events are qualifiers for the Move United Junior Nationals scheduled for July 16-22 in Metro Denver.
Move United Sanctioned Competitions are an integral part of Move United’s community-based adaptive sports movement, committed to leaving no one on the sidelines.
Whether you have Paralympic ambitions or would like to try competition for the first time, these two dozen events, hosted by Move United member organizations, provide great opportunities to test your abilities, learn from athletes and coaches who come from around the country, and make new friends. A number of these games also allow you a chance to get your Paralympic classification as well.
