
The Honoring America’s Wounded Warfighters Gala is an annual event at The Plaza in New York City that raises funds to support Move United’s warfighters program that provides free adaptive sports programming nationwide to more than 21,000 wounded warfighters and family members since 2003.
For our 2027 event being held on May 19, 2027, General Bryan Fenton, U.S. Army (Ret.), 13th Commander, U.S. Special Operations Command, is joining as our featured speaker and General David Petraeus, U.S. Army (Ret.), 10th Commander, U.S. Central Command, will receive the Move United Warfighters Distinguished Service Award in recognition of his nearly four decades of military leadership.

This event is a key fundraiser for Move United’s Warfighter program, where members from the defense industry, the nation’s most prominent business leaders, and others gather for dinner and fellowship to support wounded warriors and the Move United mission. Participants include wounded Soldiers, Seaman, Marines and Airman and their family members who have been served by the Move United Warfighter program, as well as members of the New York City Fire and Police Departments who provide essential support to the event.
