“Sport showed me what’s possible, and now I want to help others see it too.” - Margaret Beaudoin, Move United Member Athlete

Margaret Beaudoin discovered adaptive sports at just 11 years old. Growing up with cerebral palsy, Beaudoin found her place early on in track and cross country, competing while still in elementary school. That same year, she connected with Move United, qualified for Thunder in the Valley, and earned a spot at her first Junior Nationals (now The Hartford Nationals).

Since then, Beaudoin has competed against athletes from across the country and around the world, building lifelong friendships through sport. A Team USA Para Track & Field athlete, she continues to push her performance in shot put and discus while always looking for new ways to grow.

Beyond competition, Beaudoin is passionate about giving back. She began mentoring other athletes at 14 and has continued ever since, leading clinics and supporting the next generation as they find their place in adaptive sports.

Beaudoin’s journey reflects what sport can do, not just on the field, but in building confidence, connection, and community.
