I love adaptive sports. I participate in wheelchair tennis, sled hockey, wheelchair basketball, and track. I go to the driving range with my grandfather. Some sports, like track and basketball, I participate with people without disabilities. Others, like tennis, sled hockey and another basketball team, I participate with other people with disabilities. If there is a sport, I will find a way to try it.

I am a retired Arizona State Trooper. I was wounded by an IED in Afghanistan in 2008 and ended up losing both legs below the knees after a year and a half of limb salvage. After learning to walk for the third time I have just enjoyed always improving, trying new things, meeting new people, and seeing just how far I can push my body.

After I became a paraplegic I knew I still wanted to stay active in sports. I am now a 2020 Paralympic hopeful. I love staying in shape and active. it good for both my physical and mental health. I love everyday to its fullest!"
