Adaptive Mountain Biking Webinar Series

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to leave programs hesitant about returning to full-capacity operations, Move United supports its community by bringing virtual physical fitness opportunities through #AdaptAtHome as well as training opportunities to adaptive sports providers through its Training Calendar and Recorded Webinars.

Adaptive mountain biking is a sport that has increasingly grown in popularity over the course of the last several years, especially for veterans with disabilities. As previously scheduled in-person trainings are postponed or cancelled, Move United is excited to bring to you an adaptive mountain biking webinar series that will be informative, engaging, and enriching for audiences of both athletes and sport providers.

This series, held each Thursday in August, is free of charge to all attendees and will have content appropriate for all audiences – from novice level athletes to upper level program management staff. This 4-part series will offer a variety of informational panels comprised of industry professionals across the country serving in a variety of roles. Topics will include everything from and introduction to the landscape of adaptive mountain biking to equipment, accessible trail development, and risk management.
