Our commitment to efficiency
Move United has a 60+ year track record for accomplishing ambitious goals by managing programs efficiently. Move United undergoes multiple financial and compliance audits each year and consistently receives unqualified reports. Move United is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and donations are 100% tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Being financially responsible means having nothing to hide. Our level of transparency and accountability exceeds industry standards. GuideStar has awarded Move United its Platinum Seal, their highest rating for nonprofit transparency.
Research has since confirmed the power that sports can have for people with disabilities. A Harris Interactive research study of more than 1,000 adults with disabilities showed that those participating in Move United adaptive sports programs had higher employment rates, were happier and enjoyed higher socialization than those not participating in adaptive sports.
