USAWFL 2024 Tournament Host Application
Move United is looking forward to another exciting USA Wheelchair Football League (USAWFL) season in 2024. We’re currently looking for host sites that will provide an excellent tournament experience for our athletes. We plan to host 4 tournaments in August-October 2024.
Tournament Size Summary:
- Each USAWFL Tournament will host between 7 & 9 teams
- Athletes: 115-150
- Coaches & Officials: 15-30
- Volunteers: 35+
- Spectators: 100+
Host Site Requirements Summary:
- Venue with space for 2 USAWFL regulation-sized fields plus bench areas, spectator areas, and space for officials
- Fields: 72 yards x 22 yards
- Bench Areas: 3 yards on each side of field
- Venue must be available for a minimum of 3 days
- Venue must have appropriate weather plans for rain/lightning (if outdoors)
- Venue must allow field markings for the weekend (tape, paint or other method are acceptable)
- Venue must have parking for teams and space to store equipment overnight
- Venue/Host must have ability to recruit officials and recruit and train volunteers
- Host must be able to provide transportation support for tournament attendees from airport

All applications must be received by 12/31/23. Move United will review and notify all applicants by mid-January.
