School Name: Eastern Adaptive Sports

When Geoff was younger, he believed he would work in the hotel restaurant industry. However, a snowmobile accident in 1995 that left Geoff with a spinal cord injury and led him in a different direction, one which gifted him innumerable life experiences with travel to amazing places and interactions with incredible people. Today, he is the Executive Director and Chief Motivational Officer of Eastern Adaptive Sports (EAS) and a third term member of the PSIA/AASI National Team. He continues to serve on the steering committee of the Adaptive Board of Examiners for PSIA-Eastern.

Geoff has competed nationally and internationally in alpine skiing and downhill mountain biking events. He participated in numerous wheelchair first ascents focused on breaking down boundaries for those who came after. He was dedicated to increasing awareness for people with disabilities to the opportunities and benefits of the outdoor experiences.

When Krill wasn’t organizing summer sporting activities on Little Squam Lake for EAS, he was the Training Director for Loon Mountain’s
Snowsports School. Over the years, Krill also helped to grow and facilitate the Spaulding Adaptive Ski Club. In his spare time, Geoff spoke with students of all ages about overcoming challenges and meeting adversity with problem solving. He credited sports with the path he took in education as helping to meet each goal he set for himself.
