"I have no limits." - Frankie Anzaldi, T20 Para Athlete
Anzaldi discovered adaptive sports by chance when he saw a group of athletes with disabilities competing in a local fun run. Inspired by what he witnessed, Anzaldi researched further and realized there was an entire community of people with disabilities excelling in various sports. He knew immediately he wanted to be part of it.
Now a T20 para athlete living with epilepsy, Anzaldi has found his passion in track and long distance running. He competes with Move United Member Organization, Navigators Adaptive Sports Club and runs with both the Elitefeats Running Club and Endorphins Running Community. What keeps him coming back isn't just the thrill of competition or the personal challenge; it's the friendships he's built and the opportunities to travel. Most importantly, Anzaldi has found that when he's on the track, people see an athlete who refuses to be defined by limitations.
Beyond the track, Anzaldi serves as a trombonist in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, bringing the same dedication to music that he brings to athletics.
Sports have become central to Anzaldi's life, teaching him discipline and commitment. He understands that success requires consistent effort and time, a principle that extends far beyond athletics. Through competition, Anzaldi continues to prove that limits are meant to be challenged, and that determination opens doors to endless possibilities.
