Current Member of the US National Para Alpine Team 21/22. Move United has been a great support to my dream of becoming a Paralympian. Going to Ski Spectacular and being able to meet people involved with para-alpine skiing helped make connections. Also being provided with some strength training equipment has really helped.
To someone who is thinking about trying adaptive sports, I would say "Go for it! Sports bring us together. They are fun, get to meet people like you, and challenge yourself."
My long term goals are to go to the Winter Paralympics in Beijing 2022 and then Italy to the next games. I am getting ready to go to college next year.
