The Baltimore Para Classic will be a one day, one session meet. All Paralympic events from 50 to 500 yards are available to be contested in addition to short course-specific events such as the 100 Im, 75 Im for classes Sm1-Sm4, and 25s of all strokes for athletes aged 13 and under as of 12/31/26. This
meet is a great opportunity for newer swimmers to get their first experience at a para meet as well as for experienced swimmers and Paralympic champions to cap off their short course seasons, achieve qualifying standards, and set American Records in Scy.

Mangione Aquatic Center at the Loyola Fac, 4900 N Charles St, Baltimore, MD 21210
The Mangione Aquatic Center is home to a state-of-the-art 9 lane competition pool with a separate diving well which will be utilized for warm-up and warm-down throughout the meet. Ample seating is available on deck and in the spectator seating gallery. The pool is completely Ada compliant with
stairs to assist in entry and exit into the pool. Ample parking is available outside the facility. Overflow parking is available on Charles Street. Please
adhere to Baltimore City parking laws and regulations.
Eligibility
This meet is open to all swimmers that have a para-eligible impairment as defined by the Ipc. Athletes must register for the meet with their appropriate classifications on the National Classification Database. Athletes with a current designation of NE in one of their stroke classifications, but with an eligible sport class for another stroke, (NE, Sb9, NE, for example) will be permitted to enter any event but must swim in the Open Division for those events the swimmer is classified as NE for. Swimmers who have not yet been classified, must apply for classification.
