Catalyst Sports’ origin began at the summit of the Grand Teton in Jackson, Wyoming, as Eric Gray, founder and executive director, led a group of veterans with service-related disabilities to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the 9/11 attack. Every year we commemorate this date with a climbing trip for veterans to come together, build community, and challenge themselves. 2 days of outdoor rock climbing, led by experienced guides and adaptive climbing instructors. All climbing equipment is available to borrow (climbing helmet, harness, and climbing shoes). All meals are provided. The trail includes rugged terrain with hills, rocks, and roots. Participants must be able to hike 1 mile on uneven terrain with minimal assistance. Some rock climbing experience is beneficial, but not required (indoor or outdoor.) Experienced guides will lead the group up the routes and provide all necessary safety equipment and instruction.
