Learn MoreAdaptive Surf Clinic for Veterans & Service Members with Disabilities Dates: Sunday May 4, Sunday June 22, Sunday July 27 Saturday, June 22, 2025 Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Location: Blockhouse Beach, Patrick Space Force Base, FL Event Overview: Join us for an empowering day on the water! Our Adaptive Surf Clinic offers veterans and service members with physical, cognitive, and/or sensory disabilities the opportunity to experience the healing power of the ocean through surf therapy. No prior surfing experience is necessary — our trained instructors, adaptive surf coaches, and volunteers will be there every step of the way. Activities Include: Adaptive Surf Instruction Buddy Surf Sessions Ocean Safety Briefing Wellness and Community Resources Light Refreshments and Hydration Station Who Can Participate: Veterans and Active Duty Service Members Individuals with physical, cognitive, or sensory disabilities Family and caregivers welcome to attend as supporters Provided: Adaptive surfboards and equipment Rash guards (sizes limited) can be purchased for $30 On-site safety support What to Bring: Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and water bottle Beach chair or blanket Positive attitude and sense of adventure! Registration: Space is limited — Pre-registration is required! Important Notes: All participants must sign a liability waiver online before the day of the event. Adaptive equipment and modifications will be provided as needed.
