Learn MoreAdaptive Sports Association (Asa) in Durango, Colorado, hosts Learn to Ski Scholarships with the objective of increasing support for first-time skiers and snowboarders. Asa believes this will enhance the lives of an increasing number of people with disabilities by offering a new area of self-fulfillment. Scholarships include 4 days of one-on-one adaptive snowsport instruction, lift tickets, all necessary equipment, 5 night of lodging, transportation to, from, and around Durango, and meals. The New Dimensions Scholarship was established in 1999 and has served more than 100 individuals with physical disabilities. This scholarship is open to individuals from all over the country with physical disabilities and preference is given to first-time adaptive skiers/snowboarders, however this is not a requirement. This scholarship is offered two different weeks: January 12th-17th, 2026 January 19th-24th, 2026
