The Para Routesetting Clinic at Sportrock Rio, led by Aaron Davis, brings together experienced setters, athletes, and community leaders to learn how to design climbing routes that are more inclusive and accessible for athletes with disabilities. Over four days, setters will focus on creating routes that meet the needs of different disability categories while also celebrating the creativity and adaptability of climbing. The clinic will culminate on November 8 with a Paraclimbing Exhibition, a community event where athletes of all levels and abilities are invited to climb on these routes. This is not a competition but a celebration of adaptive climbing. Participants will have the chance to connect directly with routesetters, share feedback, and exchange ideas about how routes can better support paraclimbers. The exhibition is an opportunity to push your limits, share beta, and connect with others in a supportive and empowering environment. Whether you are a paraclimber, new to adaptive sports, or just curious about climbing, this is your chance to get on the wall, build community, and be part of something bigger. Join us, share feedback with routesetters, cheer for others, and help highlight the strength, resilience, and joy of the adaptive climbing.
