Adaptive Sports Association in Durango, Colorado, hosts Learn to Ski Scholarships with the objective of increasing support for first-time skiers and snowboarders. Asa believes this will enhance the lives of an increasing number of people with disabilities by offering a new area of self-fulfillment. Scholarships include 4 days of one-on-one adaptive snowsport instruction, lift tickets, all necessary equipment, 5 night of lodging in a volunteer host home, transportation to and from Durango, and meals. The Ross and Sue Ehrhardt Scholarship has given over 500 San Diego area residents with various disabilities the ability to experience skiing for the first time. This Scholarship is offered two different weeks: January 26th-31st, 2026 February 2nd-7th, 2026 Deadline to Apply is October 15TH, 2025. Note: To qualify for the program you must have a permanent disability and live in San Diego County, CA.
