Learn MoreSportsAbility enhances the lives of people with disabilities by promoting active living and providing first-hand access to resources and activities designed to encourage participation regardless of age or ability level. People are able to try everything from sit water-skiing to rock wall climbing, horseback riding and much more! Participants of all abilities learn about the value of recreation and active leisure for everyone – especially people with disabilities. People discover the latest in equipment, trends, and resources. SportsAbility provides an opportunity for people to network with people with disabilities, resource providers, and community organizations. There is NO CHARGE to participants for this 2 day event, thanks to our generous sponsors, but registration is required. RESOURCE EXPO AND INDOOR ACTIVITIES – April 19, 2024 Tallahassee Community College Lifetime Sports Complex, 444 Appleyard Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32304 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Attendees are encouraged and welcome to learn about new products and try fun activities! Information booths on the latest in products, active leisure programs and services for people with disabilities HANDS-ON ACTIVE LEISURE OPPORTUNITIES, such as: Adaptive Golf Tennis Basketball Martial Arts Laser Target Shooting Interactive Fishing Simulator Disc Golf Therapeutic Recreation Activities provided by TCC There will also be a presentation from our Keynote Speaker, to be announced shortly. OUTDOOR DAY – April 20, 2024 Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park 10:00 am to 3:00 pm The OUTDOOR DAY provides the opportunity for people to try outdoor activities, such as: Rock Wall Climbing Sit Water-skiing SCUBA Diving Sailing Kayaking Jet Skiing Pontoon Boat Rides Adaptive Biking Nature Trail Rides Golf Disc Golf Storytelling Bocce Horseback Riding (Must be under 225 lbs.)
