Learn MoreThe Adaptive Sports Foundation will bring several injured U.S. Veterans up to Windham, New York in the Catskill Mountains for its exciting three-day Warriors in Motion® Kayaking event. Participants will arrive on Tuesday, July 29 to meet with ASF Staff and Volunteers, get fitted for their equipment, and to have a group lunch before heading out on the water at a local lake. On Wednesday, the participants will be paddling for a full day while Thursday, the participants will spend the morning at a lake before a group lunch and departures. The Catskill Mountains and its surrounding areas offer several serene lakes where participants can get in touch with nature and take in some fresh air. Dinners will be provided on both Tuesday and Wednesday of the event as well. Participants are only responsible for their own transportation to the event. ASF provides everything else. All meals, equipment, instruction, lodging, and any in-event transportation is free of charge to participants.
