Thank you for your interest in applying to officiate track and field at the 2027 The Hartford Nationals conducted by Move United. This multi-sport competition will take place from July 9-15, 2027 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Track and Field will be contested Saturday, July 10th through Monday, July 12th.

Travel dates:
- Arrivals: Friday, July 9th
  - All local officials will be asked to attend a Rules Review and Officials’ Meeting on Friday, July 9th
- Departures: Monday, July 12 or Tuesday, July 13, depending on assignment

About The Hartford Nationals

The Hartford Nationals is a multi-sport competition for youth and adults with physical, visual, and/or intellectual disabilities. This week long championship event features competition in archery, para powerlifting, paratriathlon, shooting, swimming, track and field, and wheelchair tennis. Conditions

All applicants should be USA Track and Field certified officials or equivalent if an official outside of the U.S.
All applicants should be current with their USATF membership, which includes being in compliance with SafeSport and background screening requirements
All applicants should be Level 1 Para certified prior to the start of the competition in July.

Selections:

Selections will be announced via email by the end of December 2026
Final assignments and meet information will be emailed 1-2 weeks before Nationals.
Move United will provide hotel rooms booked at double occupancy for officials (traveling 60+ miles one way), meals during hours worked, a $50/session officiating stipend, and an event polo.
Move United will provide a select number of officials up to $450 for airfare/mileage. These individuals will be notified of this travel coverage upon selection.
