Application Overview
Positions Available:

- Lead Instructors: Up to 50 positions

- Assist Instructors: Up to 15 positions
Capacity may change based on program needs to ensure a safe, valuable, and rewarding experience for all participants.
Selection Criteria: We prioritize instructors based on availability, certification level, years of experience, and versatility in instruction types when determining Lead and Assist positions.

Application Period: July 14 – July 28, 2025 (2 weeks)

Instructor Requirements
Certification Requirements

- Adaptive Alpine Ski Instructors: PSIA Adaptive Alpine Level I or higher (renewed for 2025/26 season)

- Adaptive Snowboard Instructors: AASI Adaptive Snowboard Level I or higher (renewed for 2025/26 season)
Additional Requirements

- Background screening and SafeSport training completion (instructions provided after approval)

- Move United reserves the right to verify credentials and experience
Position-Specific Requirements
Lead Instructors:

- Full week commitment: December 8-12, 2025

- Arrival: Sunday, December 7 (11am-2pm MST)

- Departure: Saturday, December 13 (after 11am MST)
Assist Instructors:
-
- Minimum commitment: 2 consecutive days OR 3 total days during the event

- Self-arranged: Travel, lodging, transportation, and meals
Instructor Benefits
All Instructors Receive:

- PSIA/AASI CEUs for teaching (pending approval)

- Event registration and goody bag

- Access to Ski Spectacular Instructor Academy (SSIA) sessions when not teaching

- Daily soup lunch Monday-Friday (available at equipment truck)
Lead Instructor Benefits:

- Accommodations: Lodging in Breckenridge (December 7-13, shared room)

- Transportation: Airport transfers to/from Denver International Airport

- Meals: Full meal coverage plus daily soup lunch

- Lift Access: Daily lift tickets regardless of lesson assignments

- Events: Opening banquet (December 8) and closing banquet (December 12)
Assist Instructor Benefits:

- Lift Access: Lift tickets on committed days (regardless of lesson assignments)

- SSIA Access: Free academy sessions on committed Learn to Ski and Snowboard program days
