We seek a strategic Executive Director (ED) to serve as chief administrator, reporting to the
Board. This year-round, exempt position bridges organizational strategy and daily operations,
leading staff and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop partnerships with Move United, Gunstock, and community stakeholders.
  •  Lead fundraising, donor relations, grant writing, and advocacy.
  • Oversee operations, SOPs, safety protocols, and peak season management.
  • Supervise personnel and ensure financial/regulatory compliance.

 

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience, specifically within the non-profit
    sector or the adaptive sports industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Non-Profit Management, Business Administration, Recreation
    Management, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Strong functional knowledge of adaptive snow sports fundamentals and the ability to
    communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

 

Compensation & Benefits

LRDS offers a competitive compensation package with a salary of $62,000-$65,000, up to $500
per month for health, dental, vision; paid time off; flexible scheduling, cell phone
reimbursement, and Gunstock season pass for the Executive Director and an additional Gunstock
pass for an immediate family member.
