Keith Wallace

Keith Wallace

Keith is the executive director of Lincolnway Special Recreation Center, where he leads his team as they provide recreational opportunities for individuals with disabilities. He has coached adaptive sports for over 20 years, specializing in wheelchair basketball and softball. He is a Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP)

He has led teams to several appearances in national title games for wheelchair basketball, most recently a championship appearance at the 2022 NWBA Women’s National tournament. He also coaches wheelchair softball locally and nationally. He has one local championship title and several world championship titles for Team USA Wheelchair Softball.

In 2018 he was inducted into the National Wheelchair Softball Association Hall of Fame. Outside of coaching Keith is active in his community as a member of Kiwanis Club and Rotary, currently serving as his chapter’s President.

  • Equity & Inclusion Leadership Team

The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Leadership Team includes a diverse representation of voices from the disability community and will regularly meet to assess and create best practices through policy and programs. The group’s focus is on how Move United may better serve each person with a disability. Members are tasked with identifying the gaps and barriers in the Adaptive Sports community and are champions of necessary change.
