Event Description:

Join Move United for our 2nd annual Maryland Veterans Adaptive Sport & Recreation Day, a fun and inclusive afternoon designed for Veterans with disabilities and their friends and families. This event brings our community together through sports, recreation, and camaraderie.

Enjoy a lineup of adaptive sports and recreational activities. Whether you’re looking to get active, try something new, or simply connect with fellow Veterans, this day is all about play, community, and wellness.

This event is free to attend, and Veterans are encouraged to bring their families. Food, games, and good company will be provided – just bring your energy and team spirit!

Come out and celebrate recreation and the power of sport.

Event Accessibility:

This event will be located at the Bender JCC of Greater Washington, specifically at the Paul S. Berger Sportsplex / Janice Wasserman-Goldsten Pavilion. This space if fully accessible.

Directions & Parking:

The Bender JCC is located at 6125 Montrose Road, Rockville MD, on the Charles E. Smith Community Service Campus. The Bender JCC is accessible from both the Twinbrook and North Bethesda stops, and offers free on-site parking.

As a vendor, you will need to bring a table and chairs - these items will not be provided on-site. You are responsible for bringing a tablecloth and other display items for your organization. Wi-Fi will be available; electrical access is not guaranteed. Setup will begin at 9:00 AM — please arrive promptly. Tear down will begin at 1:00 PM at the conclusion of the event.
