Join us for the Inaugural
Move United College Cup – July 10-16, 2026

The Move United College Cup was established to create a structured national intercollegiate competition within The Hartford Nationals conducted by Move United, that: 

  • Incentivizes colleges and universities to field multi-sport adaptive teams  
  • Encourages institutional investment in adaptive athletics  
  • Fosters school pride and enhances recruitment opportunities  
  • Builds a scalable athlete development pipeline toward LA28 and beyond

  • Archery 
  • Boccia 
  • Para Powerlifting 
  • Paratriathlon & Aquathlon 
  • Shooting 
  • Swimming 
  • Track & Field 

 

Championship Structure 

Within Each Sport: 

  • College Cup Sport Champion – Awarded to the highest-scoring team in each sport  
  • In sports that include multiple disciplines or event categories (e.g., Track & Field events, Swimming distances, or Paratriathlon classifications), institutions may have multiple student-athletes competing across different events. Each eligible finish contributes to the institution’s overall sport-specific point total.


Across All Sports: 

  • Move United College Cup Team Champion – Awarded to the team with the highest cumulative point total across all seven sports 

 

Scoring System 

Each sport will utilize a standardized 3-2-1 team scoring system: 

  • 3 points – 1st Place  
  • 2 points – 2nd Place  
  • 1 point – 3rd Place  


The team with the highest point total in each sport will be named the College Cup Sport Champion. The team with the highest overall point total across all sports will be crowned the Move United College Cup Team Champion. 

 

Institutional Eligibility 

  • Must be an accredited college or university    
  • Athletes registered under their collegiate team within the registration system will automatically be included in the College Cup

 

Athlete Eligibility 

  • Must be enrolled as a student (full-time or part-time)  
  • Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible  
  • May represent only one institution
  • There is no limit on the number of student-athletes an institution may enter into the College Cup. Institutions are encouraged to field as many eligible athletes as possible across all sports and disciplines to maximize participation and scoring opportunities.
  • Registration is open May 1–June 26, with late registration available June 27–30
