Texas Parasport

To collaborate with programs to provide a strong network of adaptive sport resources and events for athletes with physical and visual disabilities.

Texas Parasport (TXP) is a state-wide resource for assisting athletes with physical and visual disabilities and enhancing adaptive sports programs throughout the State of Texas.

The U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee has partnered with adaptive sport program leaders to increase opportunities for individuals with physical and visual disabilities to participate in daily physical activity. In the Texas region, TXP supports existing community programs by assisting with participant recruitment, collaborating to host camps, clinics, competitions, coaching education, and coordinating events that are aligned with existing programs in the region.
