Move United invites you to Race for everyBODY. Get in the game and join adaptive athletes on the hill at Breckenridge Ski Resort for a fun modified Giant Slalom race. Whether you are a novice or accomplished skier or snowboarder, come and have a great time while being a champion for inclusive sports!

This race is held as part of the 36th Annual The Hartford Ski Spectacular, hosted by Move United at the Beaver Run Resort in Breckenridge, Colorado, is one of the nation’s largest winter sports festivals for people with disabilities, with more than 800 registered participants annually. For over three decades, thousands of participants have experienced the transformational power of #SkiSpec. The Hartford Ski Spectacular strengthens and expands adaptive snow sports programs in communities throughout the U.S. and helps identify and train youth, wounded warriors, and others with disabilities who strive to be winter Paralympians. WHO, WHEN & WHERE
WHO: Join adaptive athletes on the slopes for a fun, modified Giant Slalom Race. Whether you are a novice or accomplished skier or snowboarder, come and have a great time while being a champion for inclusive sports! Racers must be able to safely and independently link turns on a blue run.

Categories
Individual – $75*
- Female/Male Category
- Medals for Snowboard and Ski
- Top 3 individual male
- Top 3 individual female
- Top 3 individual adaptive male
- Top 3 individual adaptive female
Team – $375*
- 5 racers per team, including one person with a physical disability
- Teams of 4 without a racer with a disability may request someone be assigned to your team by Move United
- Mixed gender
- Teams must select Snowboard OR Ski category
- Medals for Snowboard and Ski category
*Lift ticket(s) not included
Race Specs
- Capacity: 150 Racers
- Format: Best time of 2 runs
- Adaptive division for racers with a disability. A Paralympic classification (factor) will be assigned.
- Racers must be comfortable performing linked turns independently on blue terrain
- No tethers. No ski bikes or alternate devices
- Lift tickets not included in registration fee
