Scholarship Opportunity – 2025 Ski Spectacular Instructor Academy
With support from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Move United Education is pleased to announce scholarships for the Ski Spectacular Instructor Academy (formerly PSIA-AASI National Adaptive Academy) December 8-11, 2025. The Ski Spectacular Instructor Academy is endorsed by PSIA-AASI and is held in conjunction with The Hartford Ski Spectacular in Breckenridge, CO.
Scholarship recipients will receive the following (valued at $888):
- Event registration, goody bag, & lift tickets
- 20 hours of training on-snow & in the classroom by leading industry experts
- Earn PSIA-AASI & NCTRC CEUs at no cost
Move United member organizations are invited to apply for for up to 2 scholarships to support the training of their adaptive snowsports instructors who teach disabled veterans.
Member organizations are responsible for nominating individual(s); personal scholarship applications submitted by instructors will not be accepted
Scholarship awards will be allocated with the following priorities in consideration:
- Nominee(s) must meet pre-requisites listed in application. Nominee(s) must currently teach disabled Veterans
- Priority consideration is given for individuals with disabilities, veterans, and individuals of diverse races, ethnicities, and genders.
- Priority consideration is given for organizations who’s annual operating budget is under $500,000 (will receive preference)
- Priority consideration is given for organizations that have a clearly identified need for training
