USA Wheelchair Football League 2026 Season Grant
Move United and NFL/BWF Partnership
The partnership between Move United and the NFL/BWF Salute to Service program is a strategic opportunity to create meaningful change in the lives of hundreds of Veterans with disabilities across the country through the sport of wheelchair football.
All participating teams with disabled Veterans on their team roster are eligible to apply for funding to support their season long operations.
Grant Criteria/Details for Eligible Move United Member Organizations:
- Move United member organizations currently listed as active teams on the USA Wheelchair Football League “Find Your Team” page and assigned to a tournament for the 2026 season
- Funds may be spent on any program-related costs (i.e. program fees, instructor costs, facility rental, equipment, travel, staff time used to support programming needs and marketing and outreach costs)
- If you are uncertain if a cost can be applied, please reach out
- Range of grants between $10,000 to $25,000
- The largest grants will be provided to applications who have shown success with veteran participation in the past and/or show a clear plan for veteran participation within the program for the 2026 season
- Final reports must include numbers served (with all participant contact information), success stories, an expense report and a summary of the impact of this grant.
- Grant period is May – December 2026 with opportunity for renewal
Depending on successful 2026 program outcomes, member organizations with on-time reporting will have a strong advantage in the 2027 application process allowing for potential grant renewal for an additional year (January – December 2027).
