Your City Can Host the Next Move United Education Conference!
Move United is focused on acquiring a strong host city and partner to deliver an outstanding conference for sport professionals, sport providers, athletes, and the general public. We are looking to develop a partnership with an organization with expertise in conference production that is well rooted in the community and has sophisticated, and has accessible venues and hotel property(s) both indoors and outdoors.
The information within this document should be used as a guide for organizations and cities interested in bidding to host the 2023 Move United Education Conference. Move United will evaluate bids with consideration for the following:
- Accessible venues and hotel properties
- Experience in conference production
- Support of the local community
- Sophisticated venues and hotel properties
- Affordability of the event for participants
EVENT QUICK FACTS:
Event Structure:
- Set-up and preparation Friday and Saturday
- Pre-Conference Workshops on Sunday and Monday
- May include venues such as gymnasium, track, tennis court, etc.
- Accommodate up to 40 participants
- Opening Reception Monday evening
- Conference sessions Tuesday and Wednesday
- 3 concurrent sessions accommodating up to 75 attendees each
- General session to accommodate 200 – 300 attendees
Attendance:
- 2019 and 2022 exceeded 200 attendees
- Anticipate 10% growth in participant number in 2023
Room Nights / Hotel Needs:
Host hotel average room nights exceeds 300
110 rooms per night on peak nights
Hotel utilized for participant check-in, social/networking opportunities, meeting space, vendor booths
We are seeking to expand on the success and history of the Move United Education Conference, and bring fresh ideas and concepts to the adaptive sport industry.
