Born without her left hand and forearm, Dani never let her disability slow her down in life. She always competed in able-bodied sports growing up, including soccer, basketball, downhill skiing, softball, cross country, and track & field. She was recruited and ran Division I cross country and track & field for Butler University.
Dani is now training to compete and represent the United States at the Summer and Winter Paralympic Games. She did not even know she was eligible for adaptive sports until a family friend suggested she look into it. She trains full-time for track & field, and started nordic skiing and biathlon in the winter of 2019.
When she is not training, Dani enjoys spending time in the outdoors, hiking, skiing, and camping. She loves photography as well.
