Maylee Phelps

Maylee Phelps is a 14 year old wheelchair tennis athlete from Portland, OR who was born with spina bifida. Maylee currently plays with Northwest Wheelchair Tennis Association and her short-term goal is to continue to compete in USTA and ITF wheelchair tennis tournaments. Maylee dedicates at least five days a week to training and strength building and travels over an hour each way to Salem, OR to be coached by John DeVorss and David Eads. Maylee has set a long-term goal of competing in wheelchair tennis for Team USA in the 2028 Los Angeles Paralympics and plans on bringing home that gold medal.
