Teresa Skinner

With over 25 years of coaching and administration experience in working with athletes with Physical Disabilities, Teresa brings an unparalleled level of passion and expertise, and an expansive network to match.
ParaSport Spokane was Teresa’s brainchild when a distinct need for a sport program arose in Spokane in 2013. She has been a driving force behind many community outreach, awareness and education initiatives, and the rapid growth of this program is attributed to the network Teresa has and the energy she puts into doing what is needed to engage more athletes in the community. Also a National Team Coach for the US Paralympic Track and Field Team, Teresa’s reach is felt nationwide as she coordinates and implements a number of development clinics that awaken people with disabilities to their potential as athletes in Paralympic Sport. As a licensed Occupational Therapist, Teresa is contracted throughout the region to provide services.
