Learn MoreAdaptive Sports Iowa provides downhill skiing lessons to Veterans with a physical disability. We welcome our partners from the Des Moines VA to bring some of their clients for lessons. All instructors and equipment is provided for this event.
This adaptive winter sports event is an endorsed, funded program within the nationwide, year-round Move United Warfighter calendar of no-cost programming for Veterans with disabilities. Move United Warfighters proudly offers sports rehabilitation for veterans and members of the Armed Services with physical disabilities. Move United Warfighters has served wounded veterans and their family members since 1956, providing adaptive sports opportunities to more than 18,000 veterans and family members since 2003.
