May 5 - 7, 2025
Pre-Conference Workshops May 3 - 5, 2025
Park City, Utah
Locally hosted by the National Ability Center
This year’s conference invites sport providers to gather over a common interest in ensuring athletes with disabilities have access to sport. Anticipating 400+ attendees at the event, discussion will center around improving access to sport and recreation for individuals with disabilities. The event will feature pre-conference workshops, 30, 60 and 90 minute educational sessions and workshops, research poster displays, socials, an exhibitor hall, and more. Historically, attendees have represented a variety of affiliations including Move United member organizations, general sport organizations, city parks & recreation departments, National Governing Bodies, universities, schools, VA hospital staff, general hospital therapists, disability resource groups, and more.
The 2025 Move United Education Conference will center around the theme “Disability Inclusion: Catalyzing Change through Sport”.
Building on the momentum of the 2024 Olympic & Paralympic Games and looking to the Los Angeles 2028 and Salt Lake City 2034 Olympic & Paralympic Games, the adaptive sport industry will have the opportunity to capitalize on the incredible exposure and success of Paralympic athletes. Harnessing this energy, this conference will elevate the movement, both centering representation of individuals with disabilities and generating long-standing impact to access. Content will be offered on nonprofit management, sport specific instruction, and inclusion in schools, intersections with medical professionals, among other leading industry topics.
