Adaptive Mountain Biking Equipment Grant Application

To supplement the Adaptive Mountain Bike Trainings provided in 2020-2021 thanks to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, eligible attendees are invited to apply for an equipment grant to help expand access for disabled veterans to ride on trails.

Equipment Grant Requirements:

 

To qualify for the equipment grant, applicants must:

  • Attend an Adaptive Mountain Bike Training sponsored by Move United in 2020/2021
  • Have a current adaptive mountain bike program that serves disabled veterans and/or disabled members of the armed forces (or have plans to start a program) through a VA Medical Center or Move United member organization
  • Complete the application form describing current programming and equipment needs, indicate the type of bike you are requesting, and how it will benefit your program and the population you serve

 

Application Deadline – Thursday, August 26, 2021
Selected recipients will be notified by September 30, 2021.
