Riding the recumbent bicycle has been relaxing and stress relieving for me. It’s so peaceful when I ride. Being a part of Move United has been very fulfilling for me. Competing in the Leon’s Triathlon was an amazing experience for my first time; placing and getting on the podium for my picture to be taken as the ultimate gift!!
To someone who is thinking about trying adaptive sports, I would say "What are you waiting for? You can start out slow as a beginner and once you find your niche of the sport you love working your way up to an expert!"
My long-term goals are to compete competitively in cycling!
