Here at Move United, we believe in the transformative power of adaptive sports for veterans and service members. We’ve seen firsthand how sports rehabilitation can ignite new passions, build confidence, and foster incredible communities. That’s why we are incredibly proud and grateful for our partnership with Boeing.
A Shared Commitment to Those Who Served
Boeing understands the immense commitment and sacrifice made by individuals serving in the U.S. military and recognizes the critical skills they bring to the workforce and their communities after their service ends. This shared appreciation for our nation’s heroes is at the heart of their dedication to our mission, making them a proud and vital partner of Move United and the Move United Warfighters program through 2026.
Since its inception by members of the 10th Mountain Division to serve injured Vietnam veterans, we’ve proudly served over 20,800 Warfighters and their family members, including those injured in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, providing all services completely free of cost.
Fueling Our Mission
Boeing’s generous partnership is crucial in allowing us to continue and expand our work empowering veterans through adaptive sports participation. One of our main goals through this incredible partnership is to provide adaptive sports opportunities to at least 200 additional wounded, injured, and ill veterans annually. These opportunities are more than just activities; they are pathways to recovery, independence, and a renewed sense of purpose.
From the Invictus Games and Beyond
Boeing’s support of the Warfighters program enables Move United to provide preparation, training and post-game services for past and future Invictus Games competitors. This means veterans who dream of competing on an international stage have the opportunity to train and prepare with us. For past competitors, it offers a vital pathway to continue leading a healthy, active lifestyle long after the games conclude.
Are you a Move United member, eligible for the Warfighters program, who has represented or trained for Team US at the Invictus Games? You could be eligible to apply for up to $2,500 to support your adaptive sports participation in Move United programs and events! These funds can help cover equipment, travel, and competition fees. To learn more and apply, simply reach out to Dennis Bardelli at dbardelli@moveunitedsport.org.
Strengthening Our Impact, Together
Beyond directly supporting athletes, Boeing’s sponsorship empowers us to improve our programming and expand our reach in several significant ways:
