Veterans Fishing Tournament

Learn MoreThe Veterans Fishing Tournament is an open water bass fishing tournament on Candlewood Lake for veterans or service members with a permanent physical disability, visual impairment or PTSD. Each veteran will be paired with an experienced boat captain for a day out on the water. The tournament includes all fishing equipment, a weigh-in and an awards luncheon. There is no cost for veterans to attend this event. For more information on the event or to complete an event application, please contact the Gaylord Sports Association or visit the event webpage. The application deadline is April 7 and applicants will be notified by April 21 if they are selected to participate.
