The 2026 The Hartford Nationals will take place in Grand Rapids, Michigan from July 10-16, 2026.
Health and Wellness
Medical support will be provided to the athletes competing at The Hartford Nationals. They will be onsite at each competition if an athlete has a medical concern. Both the locations of the Athletic Trainers at each competition venue and the locations of nearby hospitals and urgent cares will be shared prior to the event. In the event of a medical emergency, please call 911. Please watch this Emergency Action Plan Video for an overview of health, wellness, and safety at The Hartford Nationals.
Emergency Medical Information
Additional information for hospitals and urgent care facilities located near each competition site can be found in the Emergency Action Plan Maps.
General Security
General security will exist for the venues as well as occasional presence from local law enforcement. If you experience a security threat, immediately dial 911 to activate emergency response, and then inform Dana Dodge who is onsite with Move United at ddodge@moveunitedsport.org or 240-268-1246.
Competition Environment – Weather
Heat-related illnesses are one of the greatest risks for athletes competing outdoors. It is advised to begin hydrating a couple of days ahead of your arrival at Nationals and continue to hydrate well throughout the week. Cooling towels will be provided by Move United and ample water and ice will be available at all sport venues.
Weather announcements will be communicated through the Nationals App. If severe weather happens during a competition, an announcement will be made via the Nationals App as well as over the PA system, where applicable, and the emergency plan will be followed.
A final schedule of events for the 2026 The Hartford Nationals will be posted in spring 2026.
