THE HARTFORD Nationals Schedule & Venues

General Information, Schedule, and Venues

The 2025 THE HARTFORD Nationals will take place in Grand Rapids, Michigan from July 11-17, 2025.

General Information

Health and Wellness

Medical support will be provided to the athletes competing at THE HARTFORD Nationals. They will be onsite at each competition if an athlete has a medical concern. Both the locations of the Athletic Trainers at each competition venue and the locations of nearby hospitals and urgent cares will be shared prior to the event. In the event of a medical emergency, please call 911.

  • Please refer to the medical tent if you have any medical concerns during the competition.
  • If you have a medical issue outside of competition please call your medical provider or call 911.
  • The Sports Medicine Team will be serving registered athletes. Please allow only one coach or family member with an athlete in the tent at any given time.
  • You are responsible for your own medications such as inhalers for asthma, epi pens for severe allergies, and oxygen (we do not have oxygen on site).
  • If an athlete is seen by the Sports Medicine Team and declared to have a concussion, they will be disqualified from competition.
  • The Sports Medicine Team uses best practices for monitoring core body temperature. If needed, rapid cooling is used before transport.

Emergency Medical Information

Additional information for hospitals and urgent care facilities located near each competition site will be shared prior to the event.

General Security

General security will exist for the venues as well as occasional presence from local law enforcement. If you experience a security threat, immediately dial 911 to activate emergency response, and then inform Ryan Semke who is onsite with Move United at rsemke@moveunitedsport.org or 240-268-5370.

Competition Environment – Weather

Heat-related illnesses are one of the greatest risks for athletes competing outdoors. It is advised to begin hydrating a couple of days ahead of your arrival at Nationals and continue to hydrate well throughout the week. Cooling towels will be provided by Move United and ample water and ice will be available at all sport venues.

Weather announcements will be communicated through the Nationals App. If severe weather happens during a competition, an announcement will be made via the Nationals App as well as over the PA system, where applicable, and the emergency plan will be followed.

Schedule of Events

A detailed schedule of events will be shared prior to the start of the event.
