Powerlifting National Technical Officials Training Registration
The National Powerlifting Officials training course will be held in Grand Rapids, Michigan in conjunction with The Hartford Nationals conducted by Move United.
The National Powerlifting Officials training course is administered by USA Para Powerlifting (USAPP). Its primary goal is to expand the number of trained adaptive powerlifting officials through education of the weigh in and kit check process as well as the official form of adaptive powerlifting. USAPP also provides mentoring, participation and evaluation as well recognizing those officials who have demonstrated their knowledge of powerlifting officiating at each level. This course will be taught by Kallie Quinn.
Date and Time:
- Monday, July 13
- 2pm to 4:30pm: classroom session
- Tuesday, July 14
- 10am – 10:30am: observation and practical session
- 12pm – 2:30pm: optional, but encouraged – observe weigh-in, kit check, and bar height set up
- 3:30pm – 8pm: optional, but encouraged – observe and shadow judge
