Membership dues depend on the level of membership:
Benefits vary by member level, but in general, Move United provides services and programs that are designed to support the programs of its member network. These benefits include, but are not limited to training opportunities, grant funding, partnerships, discounts on products and services, and promotional opportunities. A list of benefits can be found within each member level description on the Membership Network page.
Requirements vary by member level, but in general, Move United will request information that provides a snap shot of the programming and intention of an organization (i.e. what they do? who they serve?), as well as documentation that verifies the organization is sound financially and operationally. A list of requirements can be found within each member level description on the Membership Network page. Click here to take a short eligibility quiz.
There is no need to re-apply for membership; however, members will be asked to demonstrate that they are still in compliance with membership requirements on an annual basis. Once a year in June, Move United will reach out to request annual dues, compliance documents, and the annual member survey be completed.
For the purposes of our membership program, we apply the following definitions:
Adaptive – Programming designed for athletes with disabilities
Inclusive – Programming designed for athletes with and without disabilities
