Grant Funding for Adaptive Sports Athletes Is Now Available!
Are you an adaptive athlete looking for grant funding in 2024?
GREAT NEWS!
The Move United Athlete Grant is available to adaptive athletes with a permanent physical disability (See the full grant application for our eligibility criteria) through Move United’s Individual Membership program.
This grant is open to youth and adult athletes nationwide. Each Move United Athlete Grant will provide an individual athlete with up to $500 to be used to support the purchase of adaptive sports equipment or participation related fees, like travel expenses and event fees.
Athletes who receive this grant will be reimbursed after providing Move United receipt for purchases. 75 individual athlete grants will be distributed starting in June! The deadline to apply is May 10, 2024 8:00pm eastern/ 5:00pm pacific.
Grant applicants need to first register as a Move United Individual Member (it’s Free!). To apply for a grant and become a Move United member visit: https://hub.moveunitedsport.org/
To view the grant eligibility criteria and apply, please sign into your Move United Individual Member account at hub.moveunitedsport.org, click on the Membership Tab, and in the Individual Member Grants section you will find the Athlete Grant listed under Free Member Grants.
Attention: Members under the age of 13 cannot register for their own Member account. Parents/Guardians – please register as an individual member yourself and add anyone under the age of 13 by clicking the “+Athlete Under the Age of 13” button during the registration process. You may add more than one youth member on the same account to allow for families with multiple dependents. Members age 14-18 may have their own account, but must register using a unique email address from their parents/guardians.
