Move United, an affiliate of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee and a national leader in sports and recreation for individuals with disabilities, is seeking our next team member to fill the position of Member Services Manager for Individual Membership. Move United is an expanding, thriving nonprofit organization dedicated to the life-changing power of sports for youth and adults with disabilities with a focus on inclusion. Position Overview:
The USA Wheelchair Football League (USAWFL) Intern provides the opportunity to learn about sport development and athletic league leadership. The USAWFL is the first of its kind football league for adults with disabilities to reach their highest potential by bringing together highly trained coaches and passionate athletes. The USAWFL builds skills and allows athletes to excel both on and off the field through competition, teamwork, dedication, and resilience.
The internship involves supporting a wide variety of event and program logistics. The USAWFL reports to the USAWFL Program Manager.
Internship periods: Flexible (with a minimum of 3 month commitment preferred August – November)
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm EST (minimum 30 hrs/week with flexible hours to accommodate differing time zones available)
This internship is remote, except for in-person event attendance
