Steve Koziel
Steve is a three time graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is currently working towards his PhD in Kinesiology as a graduate student in the Disability Participation and Quality of Life Lab. His experience includes health education and promotion and program implementation. He also works at Clark-Lindsey Village in Urbana, a senior living facility, as Admissions Coordinator and Social Services designee. His passion is studying the interaction between disability and physical activity throughout the life-span. As an athlete, he was fortunate enough to get his start through a grassroots program - Children's Lightning Wheels and then compete both on the collegiate and international levels.

The Competition Committee includes a diverse representation of voices from the competition space. The group’s focus is on how Move United can better serve athletes in competition and support event directors currently hosting competition and those interested in hosting competition in the future.
