Triathlon Camp Scholarship

Apply to receive complimentary registration to the Dare2Tri Triathlon camp May 3-5, 2025 and and up to $500 towards travel/meals and $180 towards lodging . Complete the form below to apply for the Dare2Tri multi-sport training scholarship at the 2025 Move United Education Conference in Park City May 3rd-5th.

 

The Scholarship includes:

  • Complimentary registration to Dare2Tri Triathlon camp
  • Up to $500 reimbursement towards travel or meals
  • Up to $180 remibursement towards loding at the National Ability Center

 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Applicant must be a Active Duty service member with a disability or Veteran with a disability

Dare2Tri Triathlon Camp: 

Dare2tri is looking for athletes who have some experience in swim, bike and/or run/push to patriciate in the Train2Coach program. Triathlon experience not required, but having your own equipment is a plus! Athletes will get great instruction and training opportunities while also providing learning opportunities for the coaches.

The Camp is a training camp for individuals with physical disabilities or visual impairments. It is geared toward those who have never completed a triathlon or athletes who have completed up to two triathlons.

Camp activities will focus on the basics of paratriathlon, including swimming, cycling, running/pushing, transition, nutrition, equipment maintenance, and more. At the conclusion of camp, athletes are invited to put their skills to the test at the a triathlon on Monday, May 5th. During this camp, 10 instructors will be shadowing with the intent to learn to offer similar multi-sport camps in their home communities.

 

Participants Receive: 

  • Instruction and clinics in swimming, cycling, running/wheelchair pushing and triathlon transition
  • Access to adaptive equipment if needed
  • Training from coaches and mentor athletes
  • Meals
  • Participation in the triathlon Monday, May 5
  • **Lodging is offered at a discount of $60/night at the National Ability Center Lodge. Athletes will be responsible for booking their lodging.

 

Location: 

Camp activities and lodging are located in Park City, Utah.

Ground Transportation: 

Move United provides ground transportation from Salt Lake City International Airport to the camp lodge and back. Individuals must arrive at SLF prior to 4 p.m. Friday, May 2 and depart after 2:30 p.m. on Monday, May 5.

If you arrive after 4 p.m. on Friday, you will be responsible for your own transportation to the hotel.
