University of Alabama Adapted Athletics

   

The mission of the University of Alabama Adapted Athletics (UAAA) program is to enhance sport, fitness, leisure, and recreation opportunities for individuals with ambulatory disabilities. UAAA sponsors women’s and men’s wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis and para track and field teams; conducts sports camps and clinics for children with ambulatory disabilities; and completes research and grant projects with a focus on adapted sport.
