Move United will host medical classification appointments at the 2026 Chicago tournament on Friday afternoon/evening and Saturday morning with observation on Saturday afternoon.
After the 2026 season registration has closed, Move United will reach out to team leadership to provide a list of athletes who are eligible for an appointment. Teams will then be able to assign athletes based off the available appointment slots below.

Game role volunteer sessions will typically consist of at least 2 full games. Please refer to the local organizing volunteer coordinator for specific volunteer session details for this tournament.
TIME & SCORE KEEPER
Volunteer will ensure games run smoothly by running the game clock and keeping score on provided scoreboards. They will be assisted by on-field officials and Move United staff for any questions.
STATS TRACKER
Volunteer will ensure players stats will be kept in the historical record by using a web-based phone app to note various plays and tag them to a player. Training on the app and assistance is provided onsite by staff members.
DOWN MARKER
Volunteer will ensure that teams and officials can help track the current down by manning the Down Marker on the field. Volunteer will be led by on-field Down Judge to provide support.
BALL PERSON
Volunteer will ensure officials always have access to at least one ball on the field by following the field of play and tossing a ball into the official should the game ball go out of bounds.
CLASSIFICATION TRACKER
Volunteer will use a web-based app to help track on-field classification. Volunteer will select players currently on the field, and the app will calculate if the team is within the allotted requirements. Training for the app will be provided on-site with assistance available from staff members.
SET-UP
Volunteer will help with set up of the tournament, including marking of fields, setting up banners and signage, unpacking, and inventory of tournament equipment

All athletes, coaches, team support staff, and officials participating in the USA Wheelchair Football League are required to sign Move United’s Code of Conduct as part of the season registration process. By signing the Code of Conduct, participants acknowledge their responsibility to uphold the values, policies, and expectations outlined therein. Compliance with the Code of Conduct is expected at all times when participating in Move Untied events.

24 Hour Rule
The USA Wheelchair Football League has adopted a 24-hour rule. The 24-hour rule encourages participants to take a step back and allow their emotions to cool off before objectively addressing concerns or disputes. This promotes a more respectful and constructive approach to handling issues that may arise by requiring any complaint or grievance be filed formally 24 hours post-conclusion of a tournament versus approaching staff or officials on site. Notifications of medical emergencies or safety concerns are exempt from this rule

The 2026 Chicagoland USAWFL Tournament is hosted by Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association (GLASA).
The Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association is a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in the Chicagoland community. GLASA provides a continuum of 20+ developmental to elite level adaptive sports locally while also providing programming to athletes in thirty states. GLASA believes that quality of life should never be limited by a physical or visual disability. GLASA proudly serves as a chapter of Move United.

Ability360 offers and promotes programs designed to empower people with disabilities to take personal responsibility so that they may achieve or continue independent lifestyles within the community. The 2026 Atlanta Tournament is hosted by BlazeSports.
BlazeSports America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed as the legacy organization of the 1996 Paralympic Games held in Atlanta, Georgia. These games, the first of their kind held in the United States, showed the world the power and spirit of adaptive and Paralympic sport. For nearly 30 years our mission has been to change the lives of children and adults with a physical disability such as a spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, amputation or visual impairment. BlazeSports was founded to provide ongoing programming in adaptive sport, recreation, and physical activity to Georgia’s youth, adults, veterans and military personnel with physical disabilities and PTSD. In 2007, BlazeSports added a Training and Education division to increase the capacity of local service providers across the United States to provide adaptive sports programs in their communities and schools.

Volunteer will help with set up of the tournament, including marking of fields, setting up banners and signage, unpacking, and inventory of tournament equipment.
Code of Conduct
All athletes, coaches, team support staff, and officials participating in the USA Wheelchair Football League are required to sign Move United’s Code of Conduct as part of the season registration process. By signing the Code of Conduct, participants acknowledge their responsibility to uphold the values, policies, and expectations outlined therein. Compliance with the Code of Conduct is expected at all times when participating in Move Untied events.

24 Hour Rule
The USA Wheelchair Football League has adopted a 24-hour rule. The 24-hour rule encourages participants to take a step back and allow their emotions to cool off before objectively addressing concerns or disputes. This promotes a more respectful and constructive approach to handling issues that may arise by requiring any complaint or grievance be filed formally 24 hours post-conclusion of a tournament versus approaching staff or officials on site. Notifications of medical emergencies or safety concerns are exempt from this rule

The mission of RISE Adaptive Sports is to assist persons with physical challenges to “Recover, Inspire, Succeed, and Empower” themselves and others by providing inclusive adaptive recreational sports programs. To accomplish the RISE mission at the highest level possible, all RISE programs are FREE of charge for persons with physical challenges and family members or friends.

Season registration is required for any athlete, team, support staff, or official who plans on participating in the 2026 regular season and post season. Season registration, including signed waivers, must be complete prior to participation in any USA Wheelchair Football League event.
