Volunteering at this Tournament

Information on volunteering at the 2026 Dallas Tournament coming soon!

For an overview of all the key volunteer roles see the information below:

Game role volunteer sessions will typically consist of at least 2 full games. Please refer to the local organizing volunteer coordinator for specific volunteer session details for this tournament.

TIME & SCORE KEEPER

Volunteer will ensure games run smoothly by running the game clock and keeping score on provided scoreboards. They will be assisted by on-field officials and Move United staff for any questions.

STATS TRACKER

Volunteer will ensure players stats will be kept in the historical record by using a web-based phone app to note various plays and tag them to a player. Training on the app and assistance is provided onsite by staff members.

DOWN PERSON

Volunteer will ensure that teams and officials can help track the current down by manning the Down Marker on the field. Volunteer will be led by on-field Down Judge to provide support.

BALL PERSON

Volunteer will ensure officials always have access to at least one ball on the field by following the field of play and tossing a ball into the official should the game ball go out of bounds.

CLASSIFICATION TRACKER

Volunteer will use a web-based app to help track on-field classification. Volunteer will select players currently on the field, and the app will calculate if the team is within the allotted requirements. Training for the app will be provided on-site with assistance available from staff members.

SET-UP

Volunteer will help with set up of the tournament, including marking of fields, setting up banners and signage, unpacking, and inventory of tournament equipment.
