USA Wheelchair Football League Rules Committee Application
The USA Wheelchair Football League (USAWFL) is looking for new members for its Rules Committee. The Rules Committee is responsible for regular review of current rules and recommendations for updates to the rulebook.
The committee will meet beginning January 2024 and work through the offseason to ensure the rules and regulations for the game are ready to roll out to teams in time for the 2024 season. Possible topics for discussion include: on-field classification rulings & violations, ongoing safety,
The Committee will serve as the primary advisory group to Move United in all matters related to USAWFL rules, regulations and guidelines, but all final rules updates will be at the sole discretion of Move United.

- Have an interest in shaping the future of wheelchair football?
- Have experience working in the sport of football or with adaptive athletes?
- Work well in a collaborative environment and are able to hear out others who might come with different ideas?
- Want to help grow the sport and ensure others are well-versed in the appropriate rules of the sport?

Committee members agree to:
- Meet monthly (via phone/virtual meeting)
- Bring subject matter expertise to meetings to ensure the committee hears from a diverse perspective of ideas
- Actively engage in open dialogue and meeting discourse and provide input on ideas presented by the committee and Move United
- Put the general welfare of the sport and the USA Wheelchair Football League above any self-interest or team-interest
Committee members should:
- Be actively serving in a role related to football and/or the adaptive sport community
- Have a working knowledge of current USA Wheelchair Football League rules and landscape
- Have the time, desire, and ability to perform the duties involved
Committee terms are 1 year with the option to renew for another year at the mutual agreement of the member and Move United.
