Football applies a wide range of physical activities and skills, not all of which are simple to learn, teach or perform. This is especially true for athletes with disabilities playing in a wheelchair. Aligning skills in a progression with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) make them easier to grasp. In this training, attendees with learn more about the sport of wheelchair football and be provided an overview of the USA Wheelchair Football League Athlete Development Model. Using the KPIs of football will help coaches provide the best experience for their athletes. Trainees will also put what they’ve learned into practice through hands-on drills and supervised student instruction time.
All trainings have been CE Pre-Approved by NCTRC for 7.5 hours of content.
