The 2022 Move United Education Conference provides the tools and training to address stigma and stereotypes specific to disability in sport and create action and measurable impacts around inclusion, access and belonging. This year’s theme brings us together to lead this evolving narrative that sport has the power to instill change. Several small-group workshops will be hosted in the 2-3 days leading up to the in-person conference.

The target audience is professionals and emerging leaders in the in the sport and recreation industry who currently create or are looking to create opportunities for athletes with disabilities. Historically, attendees have represented a variety of affiliations including Move United member organizations, general sport organizations, city parks & recreation departments, non-governing bodies, VA hospital staff, general hospital therapists, disability resource groups, and more.
